Many companies that have limited resources in areas such as floor space and equipment have turned to online workers or telecommuting wherein the workers are not physically present in the office per se. This saves resources and gives employees the flexibility in their time and resources to work at home while taking care of their kids. Work-at-Home has many advantages due to the fact that deadlines can be met without the necessary 8-hour workday that should be rendered. This has blossomed into an area of business that resulted from the dot.com boom as it rose and fell with many people getting rich overnight through the internet. But do not be fooled by the notion of working at home for it does have certain demands.
