Probation Officers
This is a job that requires some legal background as with a paralegal assistant. Probation officers are responsible for monitoring and keeping tabs on persons who are released on probation from the many state jails. This can be a home employment opportunity for the job does need some research skills as to the preparation and collation of court records and legal papers. The officer then submits recommendations to the probation board whether their wards are abiding by the rules and regulations that have been specified as part of their probationary period. They can also go out on occasions to investigate reports that their wards are not abiding by their conditions and may require re-administration into the system.
